The drama intensifies as Mars forms a conjunction to Pluto around 27 January 2026. The energy is taught with tension, intensity, and extreme situations. On the 27th January, we also have the Moon conjunct Uranus and the fixed star Algol, which intensifies this energy further, adding to rage, hysteria, erratic moods, and unexpected outcomes. The energy is very fixed, with so many planets in Aquarius, so try not to get into tug-of-war situations where ego fights ego, and no one wins.
Neptune moves into Aries on 27 January for the long journey through this sign from 2026 until 2039. The dreamy, elusive energy of Neptune is quite foreign to the impulsive, fiery identity-driven qualities of Aries. The questions that come up with this mix are: What is real? Who am I really? It may dissolve the ego or question our identity linked to our physical body. After 16 years in Pisces, we have already felt the deconstruction of the physical, and the souls born now are much more sensitive and focused on the soul.
This elusive energy is going to push us to work more intuitively and not just take things at face value.
The stellium in Aquarius at the moment magnifies the electric, innovative energy and the undercurrent tension of the need for us to work together to create the change that is needed in this unpredictable and volatile energy.
The Full Moon in Leo is around midnight (Cape Town time) between the last hours of the 1st and the first hours of the 2nd February. This opposition of energy between the focus of self in the Leo and the focus of the group in Aquarius pushes us to look at where the imbalances are and how to find the flow between sharing authentically in your own courageous, creative, passionate way, but connecting with the group. The sentence that works so well with this combination is: I am because we are, and we are because I am. We will be going into the Aquarius Leo eclipse energy later this year, so this full Moon shines light on the importance of this concept of togetherness.
