This is the last of the super moons for 2024. The moon is exalted in the sign of Taurus, so not only is it going to look BIG (because it is closer to the Earth), but it is also going to feel BIG. The exalted energy intensifies and magnifies the feeling. The Moon will be in a conjunction to Uranus adding an erratic or rebellious, restless, free-spirited feel to this Full Moon. For some, this can be a wild and free experience where you are dancing uninhibitedly with the elements and tapping into your intuitive magic. For others who may be feeling trapped, this can be a breaking-open moment of pushing out of the confines that have held you down.
This Super Moon feels apt for the other shifts that are happening over this period (see my last blog). Whatever you are still resisting, needs to be faced and worked with to free you and release you into the new chapter.
Like a weather forecast, one can see peaks of storms, this Full Moon feels like that. So instead of closing yourself in and blocking off the energy, find the support and the tribe that sees you and dance together wildly and freely.
This Moon is called the Beaver Moon for those who like to name the moons. I don`t really use them because they don`t really connect to us here in the south. It was used in the north through the different seasons to depict the different months.
