Dancing with Order and Chaos

There is a fine line between the chaos and controlled order that has the magic – where order and chaos meet. This is the point of creativity. We see this in nature. We feel it when our creative juices are inspired, through that impromptu session with a cluster of random musicians when suddenly the music comes to life. We feel it in that dance with a stranger where even though you don`t know the moves, you start to instinctively move together. There is a feeling of magic. It is a very sensitive point between order and chaos – too much chaos and it is a mess and too much order and it is too sterile and controlled.

The Pisces Full Moon opposite the Virgo Sun can describe this energy. The dreamy imaginative energy of Pisces in a dance with the precise and ordered energy of Virgo.  The Full Moon is the point in the month that is the spotlight for our soul. It gives us the moment to observe whether we are in balance between our inner needs and our external obligations. The Pisces Full Moon (10/9) is highlighting your dreams. Are you ungrounded and living too much in the idealism of an unrealistic dream? Are you escaping from the present through avoiding the tasks and hard work involved in manifesting those dreams? The Virgo energy reminds and encourages you to focus on the mundane rhythm and create the order needed to make these dreams a reality.  Like the point between order and chaos, the point between the harsh critic inside the Virgo energy and the dreamy avoidant in the Pisces is the seed of manifestation of using the order of Virgo with the dream of Pisces to make your dreams a reality.

This Full Moon Mercury stations in the sign of Libra and begins its retrograde journey (10/9 – 2/10) relooking at the balances and justice and relationships. On the 24/9 – 11/10 Mercury moves back into Virgo to reassess and analyse the information and double check before it moves back into Libra with a better understanding of how to balance things.

Venus moves into Virgo this week where perfection and beauty can meet. It is important to keep the magic of creation alive and not squash it with too much judgment and discrimination. This energy is great for positive critique and transforming something into a polished form.

The message for this week is: Don`t sweat the small stuff – keep your finger on the pulse. Connection is a transient point -Feel it, be it, shine it.

Moon signs for this week are:

  • Capricorn – 5-7/9
  • Aquarius – 7- 9/9
  • Pisces (full Moon) – 9-11/9

I will be doing my monthly Soul Food evening on the 13th September at the Cone Collection. The theme for the evening will be on the flow and balance between our inner needs (Moon) and external obligations (Sun). I will be touching on the phases of the Moon again and how to consciously work with it during the month as your subtle but powerful guide.

Written for those who have felt overwhelmed by the many layers of astrology.
