Mercury is stationary today as it prepares for its retrograde period between now and the end of the month. I often find the stationary day to be more frustrating than when it is in motion, but retrograde. The feeling can be like a traffic jam where things stand still, or the delays make you have to just BE where you are or wait.
This time of the year, things tend to get speedy, and the demand for results, deadlines, and completing things becomes all-consuming, and these surprise pause moments can be unwelcome, yet exactly what you need when we are running ahead of ourselves.
Something I have learned this year is that the most important tools in conscious work are to be centered, observant, curious, and, of course, present. This can help you not to get entangled in the reactions that throw us off center.
In other planetary news, Mars is still conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius, so the rev in reactions, communications, and impatience can be testing. Positively use the Mars to assert, or activate things without too much force or impatience.
Uranus has now moved back into Taurus after a pioneer period (July –November) of moving into new waters of communication. The next 6 months are renovation time. Look at what structures, tools, groundwork, and courses you may need to help you move with the new flow of information and communication that is pushing in faster than we are ready for.
Saturn and Neptune, conjunct in Pisces, form a trine to Jupiter and the Moon. Today can be a great day to work on your dreams, as we get forced to slow down on a logical level (Mercury stationary), our intuition, imagination and dreams can be activated through creativity, meditation, reflection or just the moment of stillness that can help to capture those magical moments that pass us by when we are too preoccupied with the past or the future.
Wishing you all a beautiful connected day.
There are no upcoming events that I am running in November, but I will be doing my annual Astrology talk: Reflecting on 2025 and looking at 2026, which I will do both in person in my studio and on Zoom.
Dates are:
- In Person, max 10 people on the 3rd December at 18.30 at 4 Sunbird Circle (price R300).
- On Zoom, 10 December at 18.30, also max 10 people, as I like to keep it personal and interactive.
