As we venture deeper into Virgo season, we get reminded daily of the need to spring clean as we trip over the chaos around us. It feels quite apt for the southern hemisphere to have Virgo as the sign of spring, and its desire for order can propel us into doing the necessary clearing out. I am feeling quite overwhelmed at the moment, and the act of focusing on clearing out the clutter feels like the right medicine for now. It keeps me present, and it makes space for new things to find space.
So let’s look at the planetary energy forecast for the next 2-3 weeks.
Saturn has retrograded back into Pisces (the opposite sign of Virgo), encouraging us to look at what needs closure, completion, or release. It will be in the last sign of the Zodiac until mid-February next year, pushing us to do the behind-the-scenes work to get our authentic dreams on track. What is still holding you back? Look at fear patterns, sabotage patterns, and the tendency to settle or give up rather than push through the challenges that are testing you.
Uranus moved into Gemini for a pioneer trip to test the new innovative airwaves – pushing the level of change in communication to the next level. AI seems to be getting stronger by the minute, and we need to be ahead of the game by working more authentically to not get tipped out of your boat by a bot….. It turns retrograde on the 7th of September around the Full Moon/eclipse, and will then return to the last degrees of Taurus again between November and May to do the necessary groundwork renovations.
My teacher once described Mars in Libra as being a machine gun firing all over the place but not hitting the right spot…. Well, that’s what it feels like at the moment. It will move into Scorpio from the 22nd of September as the Sun moves out of Virgo into Libra. The best way to work with this frenzied energy is to pause, breathe, and become the observer for a moment. In that pause, you can reconnect to yourself and make a conscious choice.
Then we have the eclipse energy, which comes in twos. We have the Lunar eclipse (which happens at the Full Moon) on the 7th of September, and then two weeks later we have the Solar eclipse (which happens at the New Moon) on the 21st of September, the day before the Sun moves sign. At the moment, the nodes are in the sign of Pisces and Virgo, so the eclipse theme will be focused very much on the imbalances and the disconnect between the real and the surreal, between the spiritual and the mundane parts of our lives. The solar eclipse will be directly opposite the Saturn Neptune conjunction, which has been an ongoing theme of this subject for this year.
It feels like the bar has been pushed higher, and the pressure to do the deeper work has become a matter of importance. No more excuses, distractions or waiting for the right time…. We need to show up and do the work daily (Virgo style), and start to get the ball rolling. This does not mean working harder; it means changing how you work so that you are connected to what you need to do on an evolving scale throughout your journey.
