I missed the Full moon blog as I was away scouting venues for future retreats. I was sitting in the glorious hot tub watching the full Moon at a stunning self catering farm near Swellendam called Frog Mountain Getaways. I will be facilitating a small retreat over the weekend of the 8 -10 August there.
This Mercury retrograde really seems to be hitting hard. Communication is blocked, computers doing strange things and crashes and car troubles seem to be more than usual as well. With Mars squaring the Moon and Venus today, angry volatile emotions can get triggered easily. It is also the last day of Cancer and the roaring Lion energy is pushing in.
We have come to that time of the year where the outer planets all seem to go into retrograde. Saturn, Neptune and Pluto are now retrograding. Uranus has moved into Gemini and is pushing buttons in the area of communication, information and online platforms. Saturn and Neptune are still conjunct as they retrograde in the early degrees of Aries, negotiating between the plains of the real and the surreal world. It is a strange time of many new things starting to emerge, yet no formed structure to help one feel secure.
Other significant planetary changes are:
- Sun moves into Leo tomorrow on 22 July
- New Moon in Leo on 24 July
- Mercury retrograde 18 July until 10 Aug
- Uranus moved into Gemini on 7 July and will be in this sign until November, and then retrogrades back into Taurus for a last tying up of the old things between November to April 2026, and then from then Uranus will stay in the sign of Gemini for approx 8 years.
